Ohya kuzure

Oyakuzure (大谷崩) is one of three great land slide in Japan. It happened by a big earthquake in 1707. It is 800m high and 1.8km wide. So far, about 120 million cubic meter of the rocks has slide. It has great view, but also very dangerous. When you hike this mountain, make sure you stay on the right track.

There is parking. It is also one of the hiking course in Umegashima. Finish your hiking before 16:00pm for sure.

Ohya kuzureIt is like river of the rocks. You can see this kind of landscape only this Oyakuzure. It is very risky mountain, the rocks are very unbalance. However, this is one of nice hiking in Umegashima. At the peak of Mt. Oya, you can see great view of Mt. Fuji.
