Akamizu Waterfall

Akamizu Waterfall (赤水の滝, akamizunotaki) is located in higher level of Abe River in Shizuoka Prefecture. It is also called "Neck of Abegawa". I was made by Oyakuzure "the great land slide" at 1707. The rock blocked the river and became waterfall. By the time the fall was made, water colored red because of the rocks. That's way, this fall is called Akamizu which means "red water" in Japanese.

No restroom, but there is parking. You can see this fall from the observation hill.
