Joren Fall

Joren waterfall (浄蓮の滝, jorennotaki) is one of the best 100 waterfalls in Japan. It has about 25m(85 ft.) height and is located on the middle of Izu in Shizuoka Prefecture. Many waterfalls including Joren waterfall in Izu were made by Lava from Volcano. You could see those rocks made by lava. There is fishing spot and Wasabi shop around the fall. The wasabi is one of the famous wasabi made by pure water from the fall.

There are free parking space, gift shops and restroom. Also, you can visit fall by tour bus.

Joren FallThe water of the fall is very cold even in summer. So, it's very nice place to visit in the summer. There is wasabi plantation around the fall and their wasabi is known as one of the most tasty wasabi because of the cold and pure water from the fall. You can try fresh wasabi here. Also, you can enjoy fishing here. At the parking area, there are many hotels and gift shops. They have wasabi ice-cream which is very interesting taste. You should try at once. Be careful, it is very wasabi kind of spicy, but taste great! Also, Wasabizuke is great wasabi food, too.
